Nag Panchami, one of the important festivals of Shravan month, will be celebrated on Friday. All the Shiva temples are decorated for the festival of Nag Panchami. Along with Mahadev, Vasuki Nag is also worshipped on Nag Panchami. On this day, Lord Shiva will stay on Mount Kailash with Mother Parvati. During this time, by worshipping Nag Devta with the Shiv family, Shiva devotees will get all kinds of happiness. Milk and paddy lava will be offered to Nag Devta. On Nag Panchami, people worship Nag Devta in Sawan especially to remove Kalsarp Dosh.

Puja must be completed by 1 p.m.

Priest Rakesh Pandey of Khadeshwar temple says that Nag Panchami is celebrated on the Panchami Tithi of Shukla Paksha of Sawan month. This year this Panchami is entering on 9 August 2024 at 12:37 am. It will end on the next day i.e. 10 August at 3:14 am. On Friday, the special Muhurta of Puja will start at 12:13 pm, which will end at 1 pm. On this day, worship of the snake god in Pradosh Kaal has great importance.

Practicable and Proven Yoga

Pandit Rakesh Pandey tells that according to the Panchang, Sadhya and Siddha Yoga is being formed on the day of Nag Panchami. This is considered very auspicious. Due to the formation of this yoga, doing auspicious work gives good results. Along with this, happiness, prosperity, wealth and glory are attained.

Friday is the day of Sun, the lord of Hasta Nakshatra, Kartikeya is the lord of Siddha Yoga. From this point of view, those who are likely to get married can also worship the Snake deity on this day. Worshiping the Snake deity leads to growth in the family. Obstacles are removed. On this day, worship should be performed in the temples of the Snake deity as per the rituals.
